JWHA returns to one of the most important sites in the early history of Latter Day Saintism. This year’s conference will be held at the Community of Christ Kirtland Temple Visitors’ Center next to the historic Kirtland Temple.

Accommodations are available at the Holiday Inn in nearby Mentor, Ohio.

The conference opens Thursday evening with the annual business meeting followed by the highlight Howard lecture (see details below). The Friday program opens with a plenary session focusing on research and reconstruction of historic properties in Kirtland led by Mark Staker, Jessie Embry, and Elwin Robinson.

Friday morning and afternoon and Saturday morning will offer a wide variety of concurrent sessions on various aspects of Restoration history, theology, and culture. The traditional awards banquet will be held Friday evening and presidential address by Brian Hales Saturday evening.

The conference concludes on Sunday morning with a service of worship in the Kirtland Temple.
