2019 Spring Event and Business Meeting was held
Friday, April 5, 2019, 6:00 p.m.
The Board of Directors is putting a new twist on the JWHA time-honored Spring Event. On Friday, April 5th, 6:00 p.m., at the Graceland Independence campus, JWHA members and their guests will participate in a panel discussion on “The Unique Place of JWHA in Restoration History.” As with past Spring Events, JWHA would like to honor Wallace B. Smith, Community of Christ Prophet-President (1978-1996), with a tribute to his service. The panel will entertain a Q&A segment from audience members. Alma Blair, one of the original JWHA Founders, will also be recognized. Details of the exciting JWHA 2019 Annual Conference in Fairport, New York (Rochester) will be revealed. Realizing the rising costs of registrations, this year the Spring Event is complimentary. The panel discussion will be followed by a social hour and light refreshments.
