Friends,
What began as a mission to Germany in 1984 became a lifelong vocation—one that took me through roles as an instructor at the MTC, BYU, and BYU–Hawaii (online); a seminary and institute teacher; a coordinator in western Montana; and, most recently, a researcher and manager at Church headquarters.
I’m deeply grateful to the students, colleagues, and family members who made this journey so meaningful. I’m also thankful for the Church leaders who oversaw and supported our efforts. Their vision and trust shaped much of what we were able to accomplish together. The relationships built over these decades are the most enduring part of my career.
As I turn the page, I’m excited to begin a new chapter as a consultant for small healthcare businesses—organizations working to improve the physical and psychological quality of life for children and adults. I’ll also continue my work in Restoration history—researching, writing, and serving on the board of the John Whitmer Historical Association.
To all who’ve shared in this path, thank you. Onward!
Eric
