- Relevance to Historical Topics
- Papers must focus on subjects within the Restoration Tradition, emphasizing their historical context, development, and significance.
- Avoidance of Conspiracy Theories
- Proposals that promote conspiracy theories, unverified claims, or speculative narratives without rigorous historical support will not be accepted.
- Clarity of Purpose and Methodology
- Proposals should clearly outline the research question, objectives, and methodological approach.
- Originality and Contribution to Scholarship
- Papers should present original research or new interpretations of existing materials, indicating how the research addresses gaps in scholarship or offers new insights.
- Respect for Diversity and Sensitivity
- Proposals should respect diverse perspectives and acknowledge multiple interpretations of historical events.
- Faith-Based Content
- Faith-based content is only appropriate for the theological track, but must present ideas within a historical, theological, or sociological context and interrogate those ideas in an intellectually rigorous way using primary sources, secondary sources, and established hermeneutic systems.
- Format and Submission Guidelines
- Proposals must adhere to a specified word of 100-200 words and be submitted by the deadline, including the author’s name, affiliation, and contact information.
