Each year JWHA holds two meetings that bring together the leading scholars in the fields of Latter Day Saint history and theology:
The Restoration Studies Symposium / Sunstone Midwest is our theology and religious studies conference, held in mid-April in
Independence, Missouri. The conference is co-sponsored by the Community of Christ Seminary and the Sunstone Education Foundation.
The JWHA Annual Meeting is our history conference, held in late September at a different historic site each year.
Each of our conferences typically attracts between 125 and 200 attendees, in an intimate setting that allows you to hear and interact
with the leading scholars in Latter Day Saint studies.
