Dear JWHA Members,
The time has arrived for us to consider our fellow members for the board positions that will be naturally vacated as terms end in the fall. This year we’ll be filling the positions of Books Liaison, Finance Committee Chair, Podcasts, and as always, President-Elect. An interest in long-term planning is always helpful.
We need your help in identifying people who will be well suited for these roles. If you know someone that will bring fresh ideas and an outstanding contribution to the board, please click here to make an anonymous nomination. Feel free to nominate yourself.
We would like to remind you that we have a working board. We regularly interact via teleconference and email and assist with the annual conference in any way possible. Filling a board seat is a rewarding experience that will allow the new board member to strengthen JWHA and create meaningful friendships.
Nominees will be contacted by the Nominations Committee to determine their interest and asked to participate in a short skills self-assessment.
