Jerry Romig explains: I would list my name as Jerry Romig, Harold, Francis, William, Abraham, Jesse Isaiah, and so on. If you are a Romig you would list your first and last, then the first name of each ancester on back. If your name is not Romig then you would list first and last all the way back through the first Romig name then first name on back. Example: "Betty Jones, Judy Myers, John Romig, Jesse, & etc." Then people can check to see how each are related.
