Home >> Membership   JWHA Membership   Our membership is composed of caring and concerned students, scholars and participants from around the world. JWHA membership totaled more than 450 in 2003.   The John Whitmer Historical Association is growing. We are gaining new members and past members we have not heard from for some time are coming back. If you know of someone who has expressed an interest in the broad scope of Mormon History, why not invite them to become a member. If you sponsor a new member or have someone renew a membership who has not been a member for at least five years, we will reward you with a past Journal of your choice. Merely have them place your name as sponsor on their membership application form and we will contact you. Is your membership up-to-date? Check the mailing label on your latest newsletter. The number in the upper left hand corner is your membership number. The number in the upper right hand corner is the last year for which you have paid dues. If you are not current, you should consider renewing today.   Now you can join or renew your membership in both JWHA and the Mormon History Association in one easy step and save $5.00 in the process. See the renewal form in the current newsletter for instructions.   While you're renewing your membership, consider ordering back issues of the JWHA Journal that you might not have received or that you might use to complete your library. You can also order tapes of featured presentations at previous annual meetings and spring banquets.   Fill out a membership/order form, enclose your check or money order and send them to the address given. Stay up-to-date with what is going on in the field of Mormon History!   CLICK HERE TO RENEW YOUR JWHA MEMBERSHIP   Annual Membership Dues   Regular Membership: $30.00 Full membership in the organization with a subscription to the quarterly newsletter and annual journal, full voting rights at the annual meeting and a discount on registration for the annual meeting. Spouse Membership: $10.00 Same as above except that the spouse shares the subscriptions. Student Membership: $17.50 Full membership is offered at a reduced rate to encourage students to join the association. Sustaining Membership: $75.00 Sustaining members are full members who provide an extra donation to help sustain the association's important initiatives and programs. Patron Membership: $200.00 Patron members are helping JWHA with its long-term goals of growth and increased professionalism. Patrons will be invited to sit with the JWHA Presidency and keynote speakers at the Patrons' Dinner during the annual meeting.
