Potential donations do not need to be just books. You can donate just about anything. Beyond books there are items like artwork, photographs, historical newspapers, knickknacks, collectables, old campaign buttons, crocheted things, bottled jam, gift baskets, gift cards or coupons to spas and other interesting places, etc. Think of the most interesting and unique items you can donate and there will be some kind of recognition for the person who donates that item.
